I don't understand the point in having just three teams in second division test cricket. Ideally there should be at least 8 teams. Apart from the existing ones (Zimbabwe, Ireland and Afghanistan), they can add Scotland, Netherlands, Nepal, Namibia and USA. Anyway, at this point, Zimbabwe has got a good start. They are at 65/0, without the loss of any wickets. Prince Masvaure and Joylord Gumbie are at the crease.
After a long time we are seeing Zimbabwe playing Test cricket. Zimbabwe finished their first innings game against Ireland yesterday where Zimbabwe scored 210 runs at the end of the first day and at the end of the first innings. Ireland will be batting in their first innings on day two and will definitely be looking to finish day two ahead of Zimbabwe. The outcome of the match depends a lot on the first innings of the opposing team. If Ireland can be ahead of Zimbabwe in the first innings then Ireland will win this match but if Zimbabwe is ahead at the end of the first innings then Zimbabwe will bat again and they will try to give Ireland a big target.
