Antonio Conte feels more confident with Lukaku than Osimhen because he also wanted Osimhen to leave the team and if he didn't leave I think he will not give him enough playing time which will affect Osimhen's market value and his performance which will directly be against the club's will because they were expecting to cash out big in his deal. I still do not understand why Conte wants Lukaku over Osimhen. I understand that Osimhen was already stated to leave, but at this point, it feels like Conte doesn't want to use Osimhen at all. If Napoli truly wants to sell Osimhen, they have to lower their asking price. His value has dropped and I don't think any club would buy him for that amount, plus, he's an African, European clubs hardly buy African for very high amount. PSG don't want to spend more than they have already done that's why they're not ready to pay the asking price for Osimhen.
That's also superig for me. Lukaku is a good player but he is getting old and he is not stable at all. He is a player who won't respect his team and he also wants to leave for better options and that's what we saw from Lukaku when he left Inter Milan and was not loyal to this team when he started negotiations with Juventus and joined Roma. However, he is a good player but I think Osimhen is much better than Lukako and he is younger than him which can make him a better player for Napoli and Conte.
