Have read several interesting articles on the internet regarding wallets for storing Bitcoin, they mentioned that there are several types of Bitcoin storage, they're hot & cold wallets. Now I only use Trustwallet to store Bitcoin I have. Am I in the right type of wallet to store my Bitcoin?

I think you really need to understand what a custodian wallet is and the difference with non custodian wallet. You need to keep reading and learning and also comparing so that you can learn faster. Nothing good comes easily that is why we need to keep learning how to stay safe in the crypto market rather than just waiting for someone to come and spoon feed us. Is like op is quite serious about learning about the crypto make which is a good thing to know so that we don't have to keep making the same mistakes that will make us lose money in the entire crypto market.
