Nobody is mining merit here, I don’t know who told you that merit is mined here. Merit is just like a reward, which is given to you for your contribution or hard work. After making a post, anyone who finds the post useful and has sendable merit might just decide to merit your post. And for each merit that you receive, you will have half of the merit to give out to any forum member whose posts you find useful. So, for example, if you receive 2 merits, you will have 1 sendable merit, and if you receive 10 merits, you will have 5 sendable merits. So you should know that merit is not mined here.
