I don't see any reason why a coach should not be involved in the signing processes of a player because even when players are signed to the team, isn't it still the coach that will make decisions of who to feature in a game? As a matter of fact Eric Ten Haag made good improvements towards the end of last season so hopefully if he continues with that same spirit energy this new season, the team will go far this season.

Ten Haag isn't a bad coach irrespective of the fact that he started very poorly last season but he can make a difference this season considering the fact that he helped the team win a trophy last season so he should be fully involved in any decision the club want to make about signing of new players to the team.

I agree with that totally.  Smiley  A coach should definitely play a role in transfers made. But some big and rich teams don't allow their coaches be a big part of it I'm afraid. I think it is wrong as the coach will handle those players later.

Erik ten Hag and INEOS are working together on this as far as I know. I appreciate that. There are more transfers to come for Manchester United probably by the way. Because meanwhile there are players targeted to be sold too:

- Casemiro
- Lindelof
- Maguire
- Eriksen
- Antony
- Sancho
