Barcelona president, Joan Laporta have a whole lot to accomplish. While Hansi Flick is new and we don't expect him to start winning games and lifting titles for the club. It will take lengthy time before things fall in good place for Barcelona. The club's board and the supporters always expect high from the team's headcoach, probably not good for the status for the club. Barcelona are suffering from injuries, budget inequity and also having crucial debts on their heads. The club's gradually draining because it's been one of the hectic challenges for them.
The transfer market is always used to bring in new players, teams that performed poorly last season will make changes to add strength to their squad. Barcelona has been linked with several players in this transfer market, but so far has not brought in any new players, this is due to the club's financial condition which is still unhealthy and has clashed with FFP regulations.
Barcelona must improve their financial condition in order to be able to bring in new players, Hansi Flick has asked Laporta to prepare funds to be able to bring in new players, but they must release the players they currently have to get money so as not to clash with FFP rules. Barcelona must solve their problems one by one to improve their level, selling players is one of the options they can do so they can bring in new players.

While Hansi Flick and Laporta are fumbling for money, the true issue is: How the hell did one of the largest clubs in the world get broke? Instead of bringing in fresh talent, they are holding to athletes past their prime. Crazy! They let Joao Felix go; he was a possible star. That is just sheer stupidity. They have to make some difficult decisions quickly if they want to be contenders once more. They lag years behind Real Madrid right now. Their one hope is that Real screws big time. Still, Barca might be able to extract a rabbit from the hat. This is football, sweetheart; everything can happen
