Nice question. This reminds me of teams like Malaga, Leicester doing nice things in the Champions League after having a great season in their domestic leagues.
However I'm not sure if Girona can keep this level... It is very important to preserve the current squad quality above all else. Otherwise team spirit might not be good enough.They are actually making new good transfers such as Abel Ruiz and Krejci so far. But players like Aleix Garcia, Savinho, Yan Couto, Eric Garcia have left. Dovbyk is also likely to leave. Atletico Madrid and Roma are interested lately.
