Barcelona really has a big ambition to get Dani Olmo and I'm sure most people here know about this news. For me this might be a reasonable offer but logically the team that owns the player also doesn't want to let go of a reliable player but paid in installments for several seasons. On the one hand Leipzig would definitely choose to release the player to another team that can pay in full without any risk.

And even though the offer will later be approved by Leipzig, it is actually a bad start for Barcelona finances because it adds to the burden of debt in the future. This is what Barcelona must avoid, which is only ambitious to bring in players without thinking about its finances in the future which are currently not recovering.

They're ambitious but not wise, I can't say anything more about them, even just getting Nico Williams made their fans make a fundraiser, plus the plan to bring in Dani Olmo, everything could be chaotic for Barcelona's future.

What do you think is going on in their minds? They already have a pretty good squad at the moment, did this happen because of Real Madrid's mega transfer which succeeded in getting Kylian Mbappe?

Actually RB Leipzig considered this proposal of the Catalan club ridiculous

Well if it was me I would have also said that this is a ridiculous offer. He is a far better player than what Barcelona is offering. And honestly there is no doubt that this offer is not going to be enough for Barcelona to actually get him. Barcelona will have to offer more money upfront to actually get him in the squad. The add ons are probably fine because well, they are add ons. But the actual offering has to be a lot higher. 40 million for such a quality player when almost anyone with a little bit of talent goes for hundred million is absolutely not possible.
You know barcelona don't have big money that's why they try to send proposal with low price. Yes, Barcelona's offer was immediately rejected by Leipzig because it did not match their wishes. One of the hopes is of course that management must send back a proposal with an increased offer to reach an agreement with Leipzig in the Dani Olmo transfer saga.
Apart from that, a new issue has emerged where Manchester City are also very interested in Dani Olmo and if you look at Manchester City's performance in the transfer market, of course they are always successful in getting the players they are targeting.
For this reason, whoever can fulfill Leipzig's request will be the team that will succeed in getting Dani Olmo's signature.
Since the previous transfer market, Barcelona has continuously been cornered by other teams in the competition for players in the transfer market and the obstacle is financial problems.
