Trump's first administration was not pro-crypto, but it did dramatically cut back on regulations and was very pro-freedom.

Given Trump's stance on crypto, I would expect a lot of innovation to take place in the US in the industry. This may or may not affect bitcoin at the protocol level, but I think it will positively affect adoption and commercial use cases.

That's fancy talk for more restrictions and surveillance. They've been doing it for always, like NSA invading your privacy and mining your data every second of every day and calling that "protecting your rights".

What are you talking about? Trump was spied on by the Obama administration and had been in favor of implementing additional safeguards when using FISA courts. Further, his stance is contrary to that of additional surveillance and censorship.

Any transaction on the blockchain is public, and that wont ever change with bitcoin. Additional innovations related to crypto in a Trump administration may result in less useful information being available in a publicly availalbe transaction.
