Politicians are inherently duplicitous. They say all the things you want to hear because they need your vote. But once they have power, they do the things their political donors tell them to do, because they need the money. Once they have your vote, you don't actually matter.
This statement is very classy.
I think politics is cruel, don't take it too seriously because it is certain that the little people will be betrayed, they will prioritize the personal and colonies that provide donors...
