According to reports coming out this evening,it is said that Arsenal and Mikel Merino of Real Sociedad have reached agreement on personal terms, a four year deal is on the table.It is also reported that Arsenal have sent in a formal bid of about 25-30 miliion Euros to Real Sociedad for the player.Arsenal are despirately looking to fill in the void left by Smith Rowe,and with the acquisition of Mikel Merino,they are very confident the player will fit in that Granit Xhaka role,and be an exact replacement to the now Leverkusen player.
I can say that if Arsenal can finalise this deal,it will definitely be a very good piece of business.
