Does anyone know the number of monthly unique traffic the forum have? I think it's something higher than a million. When a platform has millions of views a month then it's a strong place to spread any message, a good place to earn cash too. But we know cash is not something admin needs but using the ad space for anything else like you proposed is not a bad idea too. The news area serves a small portion for the publicity though.
