Wealth is not equally distributed in the society, and as there are persons who can afford the expensive things these days, there are others to whom their standard of living is massively reducing. There is the rich, the middle class and the poor. The rich are able to keep up with the increasing price of things, although they are still threatened by the worsening economy. The middle class are the majority of people who you see mostly, and they are struggling to really afford all these bills that are becoming more expensive, and they are collecting loans to meet up. They are being affected by the harsh economy. The poor have already been affected.

If the prices of things continue to increase, and the economy continue to toughen up, the number of persons who will be able to afford expensive things will be reducing.
