Arsenal and Real Sociedad have reached an agreement for Mikel merino in a deal worth about 25 million Euros.
The midfielder will be Arsenal's third signing of the summer after they completed the signing of David Raya and Ricardo Calafiori from Bologna.Mikel will play a major role in Arsenal's new midfield,and this deal will see Rice play as a more deep defensive midfielder,unlike last season when Arteta shifted him to play in that Left front of the pitch.

Mikel Merino looks like a good signing for Arsenal. He looks decent. Merino plays like Xhaka. I think he'll be excellent with the goes of time. He is what we need to improve Arsenal's ball circulation. Merino'll help Arsenal's midfield a lot. I no longer trust Partey and Jorginho. Partey's prone to injury. That's why I'd like to get Merino. Also, it would be better if Arsenal could add one more midfielder, too. I'm not satisfied with Jorginho's performance. And this was because Jorginho's up-and-down performance.
