The English summer transfer window officially opened on the 14th of July 2024. Surprisingly, the rate of transfer has been very slow, although some clubs had gone about their businesses in the market before the window was opened. Many clubs have brought in players to strengthen their team ahead of the season while some are still in the market identifying their targets.
The likes of Manchester United,Chelsea, West ham United and Arsenal, Aston Villa and Fulham have been the most active clubs in the transfer market. They’re making good signings and bolstering their squad to challenge for good positions in the league table.
Liverpool is the only club to have not brought in a player. I don’t really understand what’s going on with them, but I feel they’re waiting on departures before they can bring in someone.

I don't understand why Liverpool did something like this either. They finished the league in 3rd place last season, in fact if they made a few transfers they might have had a chance in the championship race. But I don't think they have much chance with the current squad. I knew they didn't have any financial problems. Maybe they have a few players they are negotiating with but we haven't heard. I don't think they will be idle during the transfer period
