I don't usually get emotional when I play, nor do I chase my losses. Usually when I'm losing I simply stop playing and only play the next day or when I feel like playing again.
I do consider chasing losses a problem, 'cause it's usually a path to bankroll disaster.
I think in gambling we should not be afraid of losing, so in this case we gamble with no burden in our minds and that can make you focus on what you decide to gamble with.
What I mean is that if your balance experiences a surge in profits from the gambling you play, be it slots or anything else, then that day will make you lucky if you succeed in taking advantage of the opportunity at certain points.
For example, if you play a pattern by raising the bet and lowering the bet, of course the opportunity will be relatively large at that time, aka you have to be able to read the game situation.
This step is not included in an emotional attitude because if you increase your bet and you lose then you will decrease your bet but if you continue to increase your bet then it will be included in an emotional attitude.
Chasing defeat is not the right attitude because victory will come with a level of patience in playing a game.
