Chelsea have been on the spot light when it comes to the transfer window and they haven't disappointed themselves in getting players they feel are their problem but I know the fans are not really impressed by how they go about business in this transfer market. They know the particular department they're really poor at but they neglect it and act like everything is fine. With Conor Gallagher on his way to join the Spanish side Atletico Madrid (that's if he hasn't join yet) I think they are now losing more of the experience players who are suppose to guide the younger ones to do better. With the recent development at Chelsea, can they finish at the top 4 of the league table? Are they even doing the right thing or are they ready for the pressure ahead of next season 🤔?
Obviously, Chelsea can't finish in the top 4 in the upcoming season. It's too good to be true. I think Chelsea will fight against relegation, not for a top 4 spot. The pre-game result is enough to judge Chelsea's EPL performance soon.
Chelsea was losing Silva, then this time Gallagher. Almost no experienced players in the club so far. It's also very obvious Chelsea is not even ready to face the pressure in the EPL soon.
Too many kids are in the squad. Finishing in the top 10 will be considered a huge achievement for Chelsea in the upcoming season.
I know Chelsea struggled in the just-concluded Premier League season, and their performance in their pre-season matches isn't enough reason to conclude that Chelsea can't finish in the top four of the Premier League table. In the past years, Manchester City did not performed well in their pre-season matches, but they always ended up winning the Premier League title. Chelsea is still a threat in the Premier League top-four race since we don't know how they will perform in the new Premier League season.
