What's the point for him to run, if I may ask? What's he afraid of? Why not stand and face the consequences of his actions since he had the chance to stop parading himself as Satoshi did a did a long time ago, which he refused to take? Instead, he keeps on pushing and suing who ever comes his way.
What can keep a man running and hiding for a long period of time is the amount of wealth he has at his disposal, of which I doubt he has much yet to be seized as ordered by the court to seize all his own assets. So how long does he think he can run before he is found and brought back to face judgement?
Same reason as any other liar out there, they're getting exposed and are now getting their just desserts, if I was a vile person too and I can't face the consequences of my action, I'd probably run too and in this case, it seems that Faketoshi has all of the stuff against him and there's no way out for him anymore. You don't have to be wealthy to run away from your crime, remember that there's so many places that people won't be familiar to you and there's so many countries out there that harbor fugitives and criminals and prevent extradition so I think that it's safe to say that he can run even with nothing or substantially less money if he knows what he's doing.
