when I start playing on a new poker site (and intend to deposit/withdrawal) I ALWAYS try and get any KYC stuff out of the way... I certainly don't want that weighing on me while playing wondering if I win, WILL I able withdraw it? Just another form of tilt to avoid IMO

I don't think this is a weird or odd request at all IMO
I do not find it weird either, after all by passing their test before you even attempt a withdrawal, this means that when you finally want to make one you will not have to wait for a few days hoping that everything is right with the documents you sent, and instead you can get a withdrawal in a matter of minutes.

So I can see why the OP may prefer to do this in advance, but if fortunejack refuses to do it, then it may be time for the OP to look for another casino that is willing to do this for them.
