Arsenal finally gave up on getting the Newcastle United striker because their offer was rejected, or in other words, Newcastle didn't want to sell him. I think that the improvement in Isak's quality has attracted a lot of attention, but it's a shame that Arteta's target has failed.
For Eddie, of course he wants to keep Isak together because they have a big target this season to be able to compete again at the top of the standings.
So for the Gunners, of course they want to improve their front line because they need an attacker who can score lots of goals to bring them to victory in every match.
Newcastle's choice to keep Alexander Isak is a bold show of power, especially since Arsenal is looking to sign him. This isn't Newcastle when money was tight in the past. They are not selling their best players to foes just to make money. Newcastle is not building a farm team; they are building a fortress. Arsenal can chase all they want

We can all see that Arsenal needs a striker. Without a question, Isak would have been a great addition. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not Isak. He's a great player, but Arsenal seems to think he's the messiah

After that, what does that mean for Arsenal? Their plan for transfers looks all over the place. It makes sense to pick up Calafiori and Raya, but they aren't the big event. It's no longer Isak who can finish the job clinically. Benjamin Sesko is a young, hungry talent who could be turned into a success. Maybe they should look at him. He did just sign a new deal with Leipzig, but in sports, money talks

Arsenal needs to concentrate on the present and not worry about the past. Isak was just a dream. It's time to wake up and change
