I agree with the op that Trump is using Bitcoin to get elected, but we can't know what he will or won't do once he gets there. While he may personally still be sceptical about cryptos, he is a politician, and a very pragmatic one at that. So I think that if pushing crypto policies forward is going to be beneficial for him, he will go for it. If not, he will drop it and pretend there's nothing he can do because it is not within the President's functions to regulate financial matters in a democratic country. So he can always play the powerless card if he needs to, but perhaps pushing for cryptos will be in his best interest. I personally hope we'll never find out because he won't get elected, but we'll see.
