When I started gambling a few years ago, I won a pretty big amount of money and that opened new doors for me to pursue new business ventures. Some of these ideas panned out and some flopped miserably, but I still managed to generate some money from the the ventures that were successful.

I now have something that can generate some "passive" income and something that needs a lot of my time and attention, but overall it improved my quality of living and it encouraged me to follow my dreams.

I still gamble, but not as much as I did before... because time management has become an issue. This will not secure my retirement, but it gives me some freedom to experiment with more ideas. (I still need to work between 8 to 10 hours per day.... and weekends, but I have something to fall back on, if something bad happens)

Hope your big wins, did not just go back into the casinos.  Wink

It's a cool story. I would like every player to have a moment when they win a decent amount and it changes their life for the better. Unfortunately, I know a lot of stories where winning made a person's life worse, most likely because of greed.

So far I will never put high expectations on gambling especially on winning because if we think using common sense then we will all be able to conclude that there is nothing to achieve in gambling, getting a very big win yes that is possible in gambling but I think no matter how big the results in gambling it will never be able to change life, even though it can but certainly will not run in the long term especially when the gambler continues to rely on his fate in gambling where as we know that winning in gambling is nothing more than a chance which means it will only happen when you are lucky. So I think never put too high expectations on winning in gambling, especially with the aim of changing life for the better, because in the end it is the opposite, there are many cases that we can use as examples that gamblers experience a lot of setbacks when they are too serious in responding to gambling activities, this should be nothing more than just a playground.
