I think Atletico Madrid has transferred a very important player. In my opinion, Alvarez is a player who does not deserve to be a substitute. He has great quality and has shown this in the short time he has played at Manchester City. I think he will score a lot of goals with Atletico Madrid in La Liga. He has shown solid performance in the Premier League and he can do the same in La Liga. I think Atletico Madrid has made the best transfer of recent years for themselves.
Is good to see Atletico Madrid pretty active this transfer window, getting Alavarez might just be their best signing and possibly followed by Conor Gallagher who I think may do well in La Liga since he is energetic.

I can't remember the last prolific striker Atletico Madrid really had since though Morata do score quite a number of goal there still some good chances where he still misses which is important for them to get a win or draw, if Alvarez can definitely deliver here at least as he did with Man City, I think Atletico Madrid might get back to becoming La Liga title contenders
Am not see to Atletico Madrid been active in the transfer window, last season was not pretty good even though they secure fourth place in the table that alone is not enough because the are far from even the top three the point gap is huge, and those top teams also engaged in the transfer window to get themselves together, Real Madrid, Barcelona are really prepared to compete this season, I don't know of Girona to stand a chance against Atletico Madrid. Actually Morata his really missed that why they really have to get a good replacement that can be given them the win the want which they deserve.
Atletico Madrid finished the league in fourth place last year, 5 points behind Girona with an extra performance, but we will see if we will see similar success from Girona this year. They got Sorloth, who I really liked, as a striker. Now there are also Alvarez rumors, and it is said that a fee of around £70 million will be paid to City. Madrid, who pays such a high amount of money, probably cannot make any other transfers this season. They will also have to spend very carefully due to FFP rules. In my opinion, Alvarez would be very successful in the current squad, but I also think that Atletico Madrid currently has very high-quality strikers. I do not know if Alvarez is needed.
