It still feels like a dream to see Arsenal successfully slaughter Leverkusen with a landslide score and is this really the Arsenal we know?

Even though this is only a pre-season match, the Gunners are so serious about being able to beat Leverkusen and I think this could be a good record after successfully beating last season's Bundesliga champions. Mikel Arteta must also be very happy with his team's performance in this match and it looks like he's fielding all of his main squad so they can win.
On the other hand, maybe Xabi Alonso freed his players here and didn't burden them all too much to achieve maximum results. Leverkusen certainly just wants their players to stay fit before the season starts and I think a defeat like this feels quite reasonable. It looks like Xabi Alonso also only fielded his reserve players and it's a stark contrast to what Arsenal did. In addition, Granit Xhaka was finally able to reunite against his former team and this was a fun match for him.
After Arsenal lost in their last friendly match against Liverpool, today we saw Arsenal perform very well because they succeeded against the Bundesliga champions (Leverkusen). Yes, this was an extraordinary performance from Arsenal and to be honest, I also didn't expect that Arsenal would score many goals. But yes, of course this is a friendly match and of course Leverkusen is not too serious because this is a pre-season match.
Indeed, there are times when a club has to field its main squad so that in domestic or other matches they can compete well and of course what Arteta has done in my opinion is a good thing and will definitely make Arsenal's players better when the EPL match starts with Just note that no one gets injured, especially key players.
Indeed, Xabi Alonso certainly did not put pressure on his men to achieve victory because this pre-season match was of course a test match and of course winning for Arsenal is normal because not all of Leverkusen's mainstay players played. I also was moved to see Granit and surely he will be reminded of his memories of playing with Arsenal, but it's a shame that Leverkusen lost. But yes, of course now Arsenal will definitely be ready for the next match and will definitely appear confident.
It was very important for Arsenal to win this match after their loss to Liverpool to avoid much question about their capability to face the challenge of the new season from the media, especially English Media. If Arsenal had not won that friendly match, we would have seen lots of headlines on today's papers asking if this was the Arsenal team we saw last season. Arteta knew this and he fielded a strong side to battle Bayer Leverkusen. With this victory they have avoided such things and now everybody is now aware that despite Arsenal loss to Liverpool, that they are still the strong side we saw last season. It might not be a big deal for Bayer Leverkusen, but for Arsenal it was. After their loss to Liverpool earlier in the preseason, I read lots of crazy stuffs online questioning Arteta and his boys for losing to a Liverpool side that's headed by a new manager, so I'm happy about this win against Leverkusen.
