Post-loss speeding is the speed at which a gambler wagers again after losing in gambling. Different studies confirm that gamblers who lost their game start a new game 20% faster than when they won. The player's goals cause this before starting a gambling session. The more a player fails to achieve his goals, the more he loses profusely.

Players whose goals revolve around hitting the jackpot would begin a new round faster, believing it'll fetch them the jackpot. Hence, gamblers need to be cautious with the goals they want to achieve with gambling. If not, they'll have a difficult time controlling Post-loss speeding.

Do you experience post-loss speeding when winning or losing?

The solution for this problem is only one. Never set any goals while gambling.
I think that setting goals in gambling is absurd. Would you ever say to yourself "today I'm going to make 1000 dollars in gambling profits no matter what"? What if you lose all your money and you never achieve this goal? That's why setting goals is stupid. Just play the gambling games for fun and by betting small amounts of money. If you win, that's great. If you lose, no big deal, you didn't spend a fortune for "chasing your goals".

Exactly, that is the biggest mistake that can trigger a significant impact, when a gambler sets a goal like the scenario you conveyed then of course it will be very difficult for them to accept the fact of defeat, I would say that they have a good spirit but the biggest mistake is that they are wrong in putting that spirit, or what I mean is the same as putting spirit and goals in the wrong place.
Failure to achieve goals that have been determined from the start is a certainty, and of course defeat is a natural thing in gambling because after all this is an activity that leads to one of two results at the end of the session between winning or losing, a gambler will never be able to do anything and will never be able to reject any result especially defeat.
Therefore, this is why prioritizing and directing thoughts to risk management, especially risk acceptance, is much more recommended and is something that must be done by a gambler compared to prioritizing victory.
