Do you experience post-loss speeding when winning or losing?
This is common in trading, gambling and betting. I did not noticed it while gambling because I have enough experience already before I started to gamble as I have joined this forum before I started gambling. But I have experienced it before in betting and trading before. I can remember that I lose faster when I have lost a game in sport betting. I am referring to in-play. But this stopped when I knew it was stupidity.
Well, I think in gambling and betting, post-loss speeding doesn't make any difference because it doesn't matter whether you start another round immediately you lose or win on the first round; if you must win, you are going to win, and if you must lose, you will definitely lose. It doesn't matter the time you start gambling, but in trading, it has much effect because after losing a trade, the trader needs to re-evaluate the market to know if there's any good opportunity to enter a position again. If a trader doesn't do that after losing or profiting from a trade, then the person will experience more losses.
If we talk about the results then of course it will not always be known, no matter how someone treats gambling activities the point is if luck does not come at the right time then they will not win, meaning as you said that the speed of decision making to immediately gamble again after losing will not be able to affect the results in the game.
And if compared to trading then the only difference is that trading can be predicted but not with 100% accuracy, while in gambling everything cannot be known and cannot be learned and that is why gambling is called a lucky activity and trading is called a skill activity that is quite dependent on one's knowledge.
