Nico Williams is not in a rush to leave Bilbao because he is enjoying his career there and that is the club that brought him out to the lime light. He is still a young players and will achieve trophies as time goes on so he is not eager to winning trophies and that is why he is different from other players.
Barcelona should take it easy with the lad and they should allow him to make his moves at the right time. If they value him and want him, then they should be able to wait till when he is ready to move to Barcelona.
Regarding some media, Nico Williams still not hurry up for joining with Barcelona and seems more comfortable keep staying for Athletic Bilbao exactly for one season later. Had impressive performance on Euro 2024 with Spain seems he want get guarantee more minutes playing with Athletic Bilbao than accepting Barcelona's offer although have been success signing Dani Olmo last several days ago. I don't sure how easily for Nico Williams get regular position after arriving Dani Olmo he can play well on left winger side as the same position with Nico Williams.
I think its advantage for Barcelona after spending 60 million for signing Dani Olmo and need waiting for next season if Nico Williams have downtrend perform his market values will decreasing drastically. But have possibility for Nico Williams market values increasing up if get consistent performance for next season with Athletic Bilbao.
