Eternally grateful for this forum. I would not have known that there is a term to this phenomenon if I haven't read of it here. Thank you. However, this sound a little similar to chasing losses. Almost like chasing losses so as to hit the jackpot.
Not that it is similar to chasing losses, but the gambler gamble almost immediately again and again not because of two reasons, but because he wants to recover his losses. So I will say it is the same as chasing losses. Most gamblers are more vulnerable to losses at this time.
But in this case what exactly happens when the gambler runs out of cash and cannot wager again until another time. Do they continue from where they stopped or abandon it and seek a bigger gambling goal?
Gambling addicts are the ones that have this emotional behavior. They just want to make money from gambling which is what that is leading to chasing losses all the time.
To your question, I have never experienced a post - loss speeding. I think it is another way to lose your money as fast as you make another wager.
Yes, because the gambler is chasing losses.
