But we don't see good performance from Manchester United players in friendly matches. Their match strategy was poor as was the bonding between the players. For these reasons I have decided to bet on Manchester City to win. I don't think the City players will make any mistakes in this match. City will start the season with a win in this match.
The bad results obtained by Man United in the friendly match cannot actually be used as a reference that they will play badly in tonight's match because it doesn't really reflect their true strength. I think Man United was really unlucky and maybe they will lose in this match, but it's not because of the bad results they got in the friendly games, but because they couldn't play with their best squad, and what makes it worrying is that Man United lost many of their defenders.
