While I would say you are right that there is nothing stopping anyone from making that comparison, there is also nothing that stops anyone to mock anyone who make that comparison. If we are going to talk about free speech or free thoughts, then if someone has the right to say "sol is for everyone and bitcoin is for rich people only" based on just the price, then I am sorry but people have the right to say "this dude has absolutely no idea how crypto works, or he is just trolling" and we also can't stop that neither.
The idea isn't "if sol is better than btc", that's preference and I would get that, the idea is "bitcoin is for rich people", meaning that he seriously thinks sol is cheap and bitcoin is high priced so only rich can buy it, as if he doesn't understand we can buy 10 dollars worth of bitcoin too, that's the ignorant part that will be mocked.
