Would have advise you stark more of the BTC but I guess you already accumulated some amount you feel good with as backup just in case your . Not sure myself I have any altcoin to suggest to you because from what it is  it sounds like you are  only interested in new tokens in the market otherwise Ether is the only altcoin I can suggest for an investor to risk on.

Never plan for a long term with altcoins, you never know what the project developers plans are for those tokens. Don't go after altcoins with bitcoin investment mentality of long term.
