You guys are saying the same thing, Barcelona has not recovered from her financial crisis since the period Messi left. I even applauded Xavi for taking up Barcelona job in that critical period. Even when he wanted to resign honourably, he was decieved to stay and later sacked. I think he was not treated fine.
Xavi has tried for keeping the club to the level it was able to compete due to its lack of financial capacity. Although I felt like he would have done more if he was a more experienced manager like Ancelotti but one thing Xavi showed was dedication and hard work to deliver his club. I saw that passion in him to make this happen and he we would have achieved more if he was more experienced.
Going forward, Barcelona management must work towards a sustainable financial muscle and the effort is domicile in the president of the club. Barcelona needs more strong players to compliment what they have already. To do that, they have to find ways to generate more funds and look for deals to acquire more players.
