It must be admitted that Barcelona has many potential young players and all of them are the result of their academy, which means that Barcelona management has built a fairly successful academy so that it can produce many quality players.
With the financial problems that Barcelona is currently experiencing, it makes it difficult for them to recruit quality players to compete with other best European teams, it is a setback for a team as big as Barcelona.
If it is only to survive at the top of La Lig, I think it is not their place there like last season, but Barcelona must be able to build a team to be able to become champions, that is what Barcelona team management must strive for even though it is difficult because of the financial problems they are experiencing.

The academy is really helpful to Barcelona and that is why you see that whenever they are face with difficulties, they fall back to the academy since that is the major reason why the academy is there. However, academy players are young and lack champion experience which makes it needful for Barcelona to buy good players outside the club.

Financial issues can bring down the performance of a strong club and that is what Barcelona needs to put into consideration so that they can overcome this problem in order for them to be able to have players who will be able to win UCL.

La Masia Academy is one of the football academies in Europe which has been famous for its ability to produce talented football stars over the years, so it is not surprising that Barcelona, which has experienced financial problems in the last few seasons, has been helped a little by the presence of good academy players, whether which retained in the first team and in terms of income from the sale of their young players, currently barcelona is reportedly trying to recruit several star players so in my opinion maybe their finances has stable although not as good as in the past, the recruitment planned by Barcelona will probably cost a lot money, but it looks like it will be not worth it if they are able to compete to win La Liga or the Champions League next season.

Barcelona cannot rely on 100% of their academy players in squad, because
for order to face tough competition in La Liga and UCL next season, apart from having to have good squad depth, they also have to have players who have a strong mentality in the fight. champions and of course we won't find that in very young academy players, but one thing that Barcelona can do now to balance their finances and the depth of the squad they have is to mix academy players and also senior players in their current squa, so that it will improve the mentality of the young players in the future.
