The match between West Indies and South Africa ended in a draw. But I would say South Africa team played well enough in the match, they had a great performance throughout this test match. As in the first match no team could win despite trying hard, but the match was a draw till the last minute but in the next match both teams will definitely play with their great performance. And I think the second test match will definitely be played by South Africa with responsibility, and they will win their game, performance is good. But West Indies must improve their game and regret their game more, as they are not in very good form at present.
As expected, the match between South Africa and West Indies ended in a draw. West Indies score 201 runs with 5 wickets down and the match ended with no result in Port of Spain. All the credit goes to Alick Athanaze who scored 92 runs. His innings helped West Indies not to lose all the wickets in the 2nd innings and thus saved the test match.
Moving forward, the both team will meet in the 2nd test match from 15 August. West Indies need to prepare for this test because with the similar performance it will be very difficult for them to save the test matches.
