This is probably some similar issue like we had with imgur, and I think imgbb introduced some limitation based on IP addresses.
No, this is not an issue associated with the hosting site but how the op made use of it. Imgur changed their specifications which rendered all images from users with no accounts invalid.

Other members already suggested switching to talkimg.com as great alternative that is made by our bitcointalk forum member joker_josue.
This is currently the best option available for privacy and efficiency (it perfectly serves the potential users on the forum)
