Real Madrid signing of Mbappe from PSG was big surprise. Many top players want to join Real Madrid because of their reputation and influence. Although Madrid has made some expensive mistakes in past they did great job this time. Having strong team is not easy even with a lot of money. Barcelona and Atletico are also trying to improve their teams but Atletico is spending most money this transfer window. Barcelona ca not afford to buy all players their coach wants because of financial problems. Having good team does not guarantee success as we saw with Girona last season. Strong team is important but it is not the only factor.
Atletico Madrid haven't spent that much money in the last 4 years hence their spending this window is needed and I hope they can get good players to challenge for the La liga league trophy because it would be a waste is they can't use the players that they're buying to challenge Real Madrid and Barcelona for the trophy. Madrid signing Mbappe from PSG isn't a surprise because everybody has been following up the transfer development between the two club and it was just a matter of team before the deal goes through as both Mbappe and Real Madrid wanted the deal to happen. It was PSG that was holding the deal but as Mbappe contract got expired, there was nothing holding him back to join his dream club. All top footballers want to play for Real Madrid because they have everything that can make you a world star and a global Ballon d'Or winner because Madrid always win the champions league.
