Last season's badness will only be a lesson for Ten Hag who has now returned to strengthen the team by replacing players who are no longer productive. Ten Hag managed to recruit new players to improve every line that was very weak last season and this is one proof that Man United is able to compete strongly in any competition.
And regarding the Red Devils being able to win the FA Cup title, it is not luck but it is as if Man City does not need the title because they already have the EPL title and on the one hand Man City is also a neighbor of Man United which does not hurt to give Man United to still get tickets to the European league.
Think positively and we'll see later how Man United will compete in this competition and in my opinion Ten Hag's team seems ready to return to the path of a strong team like the last few seasons.
I am sure that it will be a lesson for him, but number one thing that he needs to learn is not throw the players under the bus, because he keeps doing that and eventually the whole group will get together and will talk about how they do not want this manager at all. This is why I believe that we are going to face a lot more problems in the future if they keep him and he doesn't change his ways.
We can't make it work any other way, manager must be loved by the players or at least respected, right now United players (maybe except new ones) do not love him nor respect him and that's not going to work at all, we are not going to end up with a result that will benefit them at all. We are going to see this changing if he does better this season but if he doesn't then it is going to be an issue. This isn't even about technical stuff, it is not about tactics, not about subs during the game, it is not about any of that because he is good at that, this is about player relations.
