If we're talking about BTC then its not in a bear market at this moment, on a macro time frame it remains bullish. What we are seeing recently is an expansion in volatility. Im still undecided if this will be a lead up to a breakout upwards but I think that possibility is quite feasible. Crypto has always had variable amounts of volatile pricing, makes it interesting 
If history repeats, Bitcoin will have a 2025 bullish year and this 2024 year will be a preparation for next bullish year. What happened in 2024 so far is the first time ever in Bitcoin history that it succeeded to touch ATH of a previous cycle and even broke out to make a new ATH.Even so, I believe Bitcoin will be able to make new higher ATH in coming months that are more likely to happen in 2025, not in last 4 months of 2024.
