Atalanta were not bad featuring in that game, they possessed too good most during the first half of the game. One problem with atalanta is that they do not take outside of the box shooting, they had quite some reasonable time and space to take advantage of but they prefer going into the yard box before striking. Atalanta tried their very best but it wasn't enough to defeat a team like Madrid with best of the best young talented players, I can not think of any team that would have been capable enough of stopping Madrid from winning yesterday.
Atalanta is a good team to reckon with and I will commend their efforts to have reached the finals of the UEFA Super Cup which took them a consistent good performance to attain that level. My favorite in the Atalanta club is Lookman and he is the player that's able to hold on to the club by penetrating the defense of the Real Madrid people. What I don't understand is the reason why they don't make extra efforts of shooting from outside the eighteen box yard, but prefer to break all the strong defense of the Madrid to score.
Real Madrid is still the biggest club in the league and the tournament and with the recent transfer of Mbappé into the club have made it more competitive than before. The player's introduction to the club was more like a dream come through for Mbappé and that will fuel his efforts to perform the more.
Mbappe managed to win his first UEFA trophy with one game and one goal yesterday and clearly, that was an extraordinary thing because after all, as a new player he had previously suffered an injury too. But in reality, Mbappe still managed to score goals and that is an extraordinary thing, so there is no longer any need to doubt the quality of Mbappe and other players at Real Madrid who really have a very good winning mentality.
But indeed, I also admit that even though Atalanta is not the favorite team, but Atalanta is still capable and successful in providing good resistance to Real Madrid. I also watched the match and Atalanta was not bad at all but indeed,because Real Madrid is a very good team so ofcourse it will still be difficult for Atalanta to beat Real Madrid.
