Currently Roma have made many changes to their squad and De Rossi has many options to build their squad to be better next season, the decision not to extend Lukaku loan is clearly the right step for Roma who really want to compete in the race for the Scudetto next season, arrival Dovbyk will of course make Roma attack line quite sharp next season considering his status as La Liga top scorer last season, maybe now it's time for us to no longer remember what Mourinho gave to Roma but instead responded with a unilateral dismissal by the club owner and that is of course very painful, but for now Roma is in a new era with De Rossi coaching, so we will see how this season he builds 100% of Roma squad, so we can see whether he is better or worse than Mourinho's previous coaching.
Regardless of what happened that lead to the sack of Mourinho, I still feel he was the best coach at the time for Roma and things didn’t just end well for both sides and they all went sideways. A new coach was brought in to better the situation of the club since he left, we can only access that and see how well he is to do more than Mourinho after few more matches or more season. De Rossi will want to improve the standard of the team by all means after last season competition. He has a lot on him to accomplish for this club and not until he has done something much better than Mourinho, he’ll have to be regarded as just a normal coach and not receive much praises. With the newest signings and squad depth, I hope he can produce something for the club this season.
