Playing in the Champions League will make Leverkusen's path to winning the Bundesliga title even more difficult because they will have to divide their focus on both equally important competitions unlike last season where they only played in the Europa League where the obstacles were not as difficult as now, but I think my prediction about Leverkusen is that they cannot go further in the Champions League I mean not to the final or semifinals because to achieve that they have to face tougher top clubs such as Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Arsenal.
Last season Leverkusen also put their focus on two different competitions even though Leverkusen was only able to win the Bundesliga and not the Europa League. And for this season it will actually be the same even though the competition is starting to be a little different because it is the Champions League which is very competitive for any team. But I am still quite sure that Leverkusen is able to have a better focus and can even be considered a candidate for champions this season in the Bundesliga again.
