PSG might have to rekindle their interest in Victor Osimhen because of the ankle injury suffered by Goncalo Ramos in the 1-4 win over Le Havre. It is reported that the Portugal international will require surgery that might sideline him for close to three months. Chelsea will now have a strong competitor for the services of the Nigerian international. PSG was reluctant to secure Victor because they were relying on Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani. But with this long-term injury, signing a new striker has become unavoidable.
It is still possible to happen but the situation will be increasingly difficult for now if you want to try to revive these negotiations.
There are several things that PSG really need to pay attention to if indeed they try to revive Osimhen's transfer including the problem of clauses where surely Napoli still will not budge with Osimhen's release clause which has been pegged at 150 million and can even be more with add ons and this is what will be difficult for PSG to do because previously negotiations were also stalled because Napoli did not want to reduce Osimhen's price. In addition, we also need to look at the current time which we must be aware that this summer transfer will end which of course this is another consideration where there are only 2 weeks left for the transfer of players to close and if indeed Osimhen wants to be brought then PSG must be fast because after all they are chased by time for now.
