Great news for Developers but not for Cryptocurrency per se.  I can not find any article from a non Cryptocurrency News source that mentions particularly Cryptocurrencies being a reason they extended the NFC usage for.  So it may be good news for us as Cryptocurrency users but it does not show a wider acceptance of Bitcoin.
