What has kept Osimhen transfer to still lingering is due to the market value placed on him with clubs like Arsenal, Bayern Munich who were earlier in the race too backing down leaving Chelsea and PSG still keen to acquiring him, although this would have been a done deal for PSG already but at a time they got unserious after evaluating their squad but their interest later rekindle amidst Goncalo Ramos injury.

But like I had said earlier, if PSG will be willing to incur all the requirements in acquiring Osimhen then is most likely he will agree a deal with the French giant since he will be playing in the champions league if he gets to join them. Everything about his fate will eventually unfold as the window transfer duration get winds down, however, I still maintain my stance that Chelsea are the team with a good looking advantage in this race for Osimhen despite not featuring in the UCL.
There is only 1 solution for Osimhen transfer to be realized, namely Napoli must lower its market value according to the club's capabilities. If this solution is not implemented, then Napoli and Osimhen will remain in the same position, standing still and doing nothing. Then about Chelsea, do you think everything is easy when you already have 44 players, is it still not enough? It doesn't matter as long as Todd Boehly money never runs out, but before that, as an illustration or simple comparison for you, today Chelsea will face Manchester City. Here we can judge with Chelsea squad of more than 40 whether Enzo Maresca has found the right composition to stop Manchester City.

The results of this first match will determine how good or bad Chelsea transfer is. Like it or not, it must be accepted considering that Chelsea has more players to choose from. If they fail to conquer Manchester City, it means buying that many players will be considered in vain.
Osimhen is too good a striker to be sold at any sorted price on the premises that Napoli wants to dispose him off the club because he is not in the present manager's plan. Common man! We are talking about one of the best strikers in the world currently at a time when result oriented strikers are limited. To crown it all, he is an African best player. If PSG needs him that badly to fill the vacuum in their squad then they would be keen to pay to get him to their side before Chelsea does.

Not that I think of, that buying so many players in their numbers in a season would mean that the club is going to perform astonishing well. First of all you have got to check the quality of players the club is signing, their creativity, skills, experiences from where they are coming from to the new team.
All of these are what to watch out for to determine if the players can create an edge to bring about improving dynamics to the club. The Chelsea players lacks these compared to their opponent squad, Manchester City.

Just for the records, the match ended in a 0:2 defeat against Chelsea.
