With the new Chelsea board and management, I feel like I can not bet on Chelsea to win and lose at the same time. Chelsea is likely to struggle in many games this season, and I can’t afford to bet on them losing. Every team seems to be chasing a better version of Guardiola, but Chelsea doesn’t measure up mentally or tactically. I didn’t see any new patterns of play today in fact, the style they played today was disappointing and made little sense.
The winning tonight shouldn't come to you as a surprise because it was bound to happen as every other factor supported it. From the records, Manchester City have always won Chelsea for several years now and the last time Chelsea won them was in 2021 during the Champions League encounter. Maybe it was the Champions League defeat that infuriated Manchester City that made them play Chelsea with anger as a way of revenge. Chelsea have to do better this season if they have the hope of qualifying for any of the European competitions next season.
