With the new Chelsea board and management, I feel like I can not bet on Chelsea to win and lose at the same time. Chelsea is likely to struggle in many games this season, and I can’t afford to bet on them losing. Every team seems to be chasing a better version of Guardiola, but Chelsea doesn’t measure up mentally or tactically. I didn’t see any new patterns of play today in fact, the style they played today was disappointing and made little sense.
Yeah I have to admit this is beyond expectations, at first I thought Chelsea would play their best because they were playing at home but unfortunately no, they didn't even score a goal and Manchester City are still the same as last season as a formidable team. But yeah we still give Chelsea a chance we can't conclude anything from just one match especially since their opponents are the strongest team in the Premier League that means we have to look at the next few games.
Today we still have one match between Leicester City vs Tottenham, for now we can't predict Leicester's strength because they are a promoted team this season while Tottenham seem to be the same as last season but there is a slight improvement in the attack and midfield and it was worth waiting for. Will Leicester City have a surprise like 2016?
