With the new Chelsea board and management, I feel like I can not bet on Chelsea to win and lose at the same time. Chelsea is likely to struggle in many games this season, and I can’t afford to bet on them losing. Every team seems to be chasing a better version of Guardiola, but Chelsea doesn’t measure up mentally or tactically. I didn’t see any new patterns of play today in fact, the style they played today was disappointing and made little sense.
Chelsea still have a lot to improve this season if they want to compete better in the Premier League, because if they don't improve their way of playing in every game, it will be very worrying that they will have to fight not to be relegated this season.
