Don you think it is too early to judge Chelsea's performance from the first game they played for the season, and we all know it was a game played against the strongest team in the premier league. If Chelsea had played their game with any random premier league and they failed to win then we can quickly express the dissapointment.
I was surprised that the dominance was equal in the match. With what Chelsea played yesterday against Manchester City, I still have hope in them. I believe something good can still come out of them, but it’s just going to take some time. I will say Chelsea lacks strikers, which is one of the things affecting them. Chelsea had chances yesterday but no good finisher to finish it for them. Enzo Maresca should have just started sterling in the match, and I don’t really like the idea of Enzo making unnecessary substitutions in the second half of the match.
Chelsea's next match will be against Wolves. Let’s see how they perform in the match. At least we know Wolves is not a strong team that Chelsea is suppose to find difficult to win.
There is still enough time to see what Chelsea will be upto in their games this season, I don't want to use this first game to make conclusions.
A single match can’t be used to judge how the club will be performing, so Chelsea losing their first match doesn’t mean they will end the season in a very poor position.
