I just saw Real Madrid's "elite" team get held to a 1-1 draw in their first La Liga game. A few weeks ago, everyone was so sure that this Madrid team will destroy any and all teams that go against them especially in the champions league but here we have a tier 3 team giving them a run for their money. If Mallorca can give them some heat, I'm pretty sure teams in the UCL will do much more. Let's hope it's not a case of Deja vu remembering that Messi + Mbappe + Neymar couldn't shake teams the way we expected them to. We'll know in the next few weeks.
What you wrote above cannot be denied because in football there are always unexpected surprises, Real Madrid failed to win their first match in La Liga because Mallorca defended very well. The recent draw in the domestic league does not mean that Real Madrid's strength and sharpness are starting to decline, any team will have difficulty facing an opponent who places most of their players in the defensive area.
The draw that Real Madrid just achieved will actually make Ancelotti maintain the tactics used by his opponent even more in order to find a solution to penetrate the solid defense. This is just the beginning, in the next few matches Real Madrid players will show everyone their true strength.
