No doubt, AC Milan's started well. Victory over City? Impressive. But those Real and Barca losses? They showed flaws. Preseason has limits. Despite his good record, Fonseca faces a tough challenge. It will take time to assemble Milan's team.

Under Inzaghi, Inter is stable. That constancy Milan wants is there. Milan has some interesting new players, but its about how they fit in. Look, I want Milan to succeed. Great club with a deep history. But this season's gonna be more about building and finding their footing. Inter is stable and experienced. Potential doesnt win championships for Milan. It requires effort, devotion, and luck.
AC Milan's 2:2 draw against at San Siro stadium over the weekend is one of the reasons I don't take the results of preseason games serious. For a club that defeated Manchester City who happens to be one strongest teams in Europe, most people were expecting AC Milan to easily get the better of Torino but that didn't materialize as the away team twice came back to snatch a point from the game. AC Milan manager Paulo Fonseca oversaw his first competitive game for the club in that game so I believe he can improve his tactical approaches to games which is likely to get them better results going forward.
The Italian Serie A just kicked off and I don't think it's sane enough to write off AC Milan's ability to win it or do you think they're not capable enough to compete with the other top teams in the league for a chance to win the scudetto at the end of the season?
